Who We Are
We are a small charity and animal sanctuary based in the Blackpool area.
We take in any kind of animal that is in need, from hamsters to horses. We currently have over 40 animals in our care.
We have a strict re-homing policy and we always follow up our with our animals after they have joined their new families. No animal is ever put to sleep unless on medical grounds deemed by a vet. The dogs and cats in our care are currently at a private kennel in Blackpool and our horses at our stables on our new land. This allows the sanctuary to continue until we can construct new kennels and cattery at our new permanent home, but is very costly.
We operate solely on donations and money generated from our 4 shops – all money donated to Easterleigh goes directly to our animal care and housing and allows us to continue.
Rehoming an Animal
We normally ask for a donation of:
Dogs under 12 months £240, and over 12 months £190
Golden Oldies and/or Dogs with a number of medical issues: £POA
Surrendering an Animal
We understand this can be a very stressful and emotional process and can be for a variety of reasons. Please feel assured we have a very strict rehoming policy at Easterleigh and therefore your animal will be safe in our care and we will endeavor to find him or her their forever home.
